nokia Lumia 520 market share

Nothing comes close to Lumia 520’s popularity, which remains the most sought after Windows Phone in the market.

Microsoft’s new flagship phones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, are already available for purchase, and the market share of Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL is growing slowly. However, we expect to see more growth in the market share of both Lumias after a few months when the prices of the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL drop.

Today, AdDuplex published their new report for February 2016. The report is almost identical to the previous report, published in January 2016. However, the latest report again confirms that the Lumia 520 is still the most popular Windows Phone device, though its market share has dropped by 0.3%, which is negligible.

On the other hand, the Lumia 535’s market share has increased by 0.2%. The Nokia Lumia 635 saw a significant drop of 0.6%, which is quite interesting. We expect to see further decreases in the market share of Nokia Lumia 520 and others, as the Lumia 650 and Lumia 550 have just entered the market.

As shown in the above data analyzed by WindowsLatest.com, the lrgest portion, labeled “Other,” occupies 35% of the market.

The most popular specific model is the Nokia Lumia 520, holding 12.6% of the market, followed closely by the Microsoft Lumia 535 at 11.9% and the Nokia Lumia 630 with 8.5%. Other notable models include the Nokia Lumia 635 (6.8%), Microsoft Lumia 640 (6.4%), and Nokia Lumia 625 (4.4%).

The “Other” category has seen the biggest growth this month, increasing by 1% since January. Microsoft Lumia 535 showed the most growth, gaining 0.2%. In contrast, the Nokia Lumia 520’s popularity continues to decline, dropping 0.3% this month.

Similarly, the Lumia 530 and Lumia 635 models also saw declines, with the Lumia 635 having the largest decrease of 0.6%.
